The Dreamcatcher schoolproject unfolds over at least one year, connecting art, dance and intercultural learning in a sustainable educational and community process. The project begins with an international Community Dance Week, where students, teachers and artists from the participating countries meet in their own country for the first time to work with the Dance Team : Under the artistic direction of Jordy Dik and Nanni Kloke, themes such as dreams, joy and identity are explored through dance and creative expression. The week concludes with a public performance that transforms the participants’ shared experiences and emotions into a vibrant dance theatre presentation. This is followed by a development phase, during which the partner schools maintain contact throughout the year. Through online workshops, creative assignments and collaborative projects, they deepen cultural and linguistic exchange. If funding allows, this phase may also include a student exchange, offering a unique opportunity for personal encounters, shared learning and intercultural understanding. The project concludes with a reflective online meeting, where all participants come together to share insights and present the outcomes of their year-long journey. In this way, Dreamcatcher creates a living cycle of connection, expression and collective growth – a process that continues to resonate long after the project ends. Das Dreamcatcher Schulprojekt erstreckt sich über mindestens ein Jahr und verbindet Kunst, Tanz und interkulturelles Lernen zu einem nachhaltigen Bildungs- und Gemeinschaftsprozess. Der Auftakt ist eine internationale Community-Dance-Woche, in der Schülerinnen, Lehrkräfte und Künstlerinnen aus den beteiligten Ländern erstmals in ihrem eigenen Land zusammenkommen mit dem Tanz - Team : Unter der Leitung von Jordy Dik und Nanni Kloke werden Themen wie Träume, Freude und Identität tänzerisch erforscht. Die Woche endet mit einer öffentlichen Aufführung, die die gesammelten Erfahrungen und Emotionen in einer gemeinsamen Tanztheater Performance sichtbar macht.Im Anschluss beginnt die Vertiefungsphase, in der die Partnerschulen über das Jahr hinweg in Kontakt bleiben. Durch Online-Workshops, kreative Aufgaben und gemeinsame Projekte vertiefen sie den kulturellen und sprachlichen Austausch. Wenn die finanziellen Mittel es erlauben, kann diese Phase durch einen gegenseitigen Schüleraustausch erweitert werden – eine einmalige Chance für persönliche Begegnung, gemeinsames Lernen und kulturelle Verständigung. Zum Abschluss kommen alle Beteiligten in einem reflektiven Online-Treffen zusammen, um Erfahrungen auszutauschen und die Ergebnisse des Jahres zu präsentieren. So entsteht ein lebendiger Kreislauf aus Begegnung, Ausdruck und gemeinschaftlicher Entwicklung – ein Prozess, der weit über die Projektdauer hinaus wirkt.
